  My mother was sent to Canossa from the Wesley hospital for palliative care . It was a couple of years ago and at the time a mystery as to why mum was sent to a different hospital?
  From the outset the hospital felt unfriendly , (I am aware this was at the beginning of covid) but something never seemed relaxed and friendly?
  There were a couple of kind nurses but the staff would obviously have preferred not to be at work!
  The Doctor (who was in charge) told my mother that my brother and I were the rudest people he had ever met! ? We only wanted the best for our mother , who was a kind , thoughtful person, wanted her to feel safe and happy.
  One morning mum text me and said “please come quickly , the dr is trying to sedate me!! By the time it took me to drive there mum was sedated , and of course asleep for a day! I could write a novel about how awful this place was , and luckily for us , mum managed to arrange a transfer back to the Wesley and spent her last week happy and cared for !
  I have not written about all the things that upset me , but I did not sleep a wink while mum was incarcerated at canossa!!!

  Worked as a chef there for about 18 months. Unfortunately badly injured my left elbow. Had to work through the pain and was told"not to report the incident" for over a week.
  When reported, sent me to their own doctor and nothing was wrong apparently. My own personal doctor, and 2 other medical practitioners sent me for scans and, not a fun thing having ultrasound guided streriod injections every week into an elbow.
  2 and a half months off work under work cover (which I tried avoiding) got the all clear to go back, all paperwork, full communication ect and the first 2 minutes into my first shift back, was told I was sacked due to "too much time off".
  It's obviously a fantastic place to work, and such an amazing, caring,
  professional place to send your elderly loved ones.
  
  The management, human resources, public relations, and lawyers will wring all humanity of their money, life and dignity. Canossa scores a perfect 10/10 for not caring about staff, patients or residents.

  My mother at 95 had a fall and went frome the QEII Jubilee Hospital to Canossa for long Rehab. I had not had any dealings with Canossa Private Hospital however friends have had family members who had stayed there for one reason or another and reassured me. My mother had a great experience there and (working in a hospital myself) found the care and attention was really really good. We felt that the all the staff worked well together, were friendly and caring. The meals were lovely. So THANK YOU to ALL the staff at Canossa Private Hospital (seen and unseen workers) keep up the great work.

  I went in for day surgery. From reception all the way to discharge the staff were friendly, professional and I felt in capable hands.

  My mum is here currently and the staff and doctors are above 5 stars compassionate , caring great place for quality care my mum passed away on the 13 th whilst at canossa in palliative care . The staff , doctors and nursing staff deserve more than five stars their compassion and care and dignity was soo great I can’t thank them enough

  Canossa Day Surgery Centre is building a day surgery centre in the Western Suburbs, which will increase community access to private health services.
  
  People living in the Western Suburbs and surrounds currently have to travel to Auchenflower, Greenslopes or Ipswich to access private day surgery facilities. The Canossa Day Surgery Centre is due for completion in October 2008. The new day surgery centre is located at the newly established Canossa Medical Centre on the Canossar Private Hospital site at 169 Seventeen Mile Rocks Road, Oxley, Queensland.
  
  The two theatre day surgery centre will have the capacity to treat over 3,000 patients per year. Other facilities on site include Pathology, Radiology, Pharmacy, Specialist Centre and GP Practice.
  
  Elizabeth Rankin has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer and Director.
  
  Canossa Day Surgery Centre aims to provide high quality care to patients requiring elective procedures which can be safely performed in a stand alone day surgery centre where the patient is admitted, treated, recovers and returns home the same day.
  
  Services include: endoscopy, pain management, plastic surgery, general surgery and maxio-facial surgery.
